Edmund Qiao has been engaged in serving his community at every level of his education. Beginning in high school as President of the National Honor, he initiated a food drive for low-income families. At the University of Michigan, he was involved in medical missions through Global Health Outreach and founded University Network Initiative to mentor local high school students. He is currently a medical student at UC San Diego and has served as a manager for the school’s Pacific Beach free clinic site.
